Recent research found that the current level of domestic abuse training given to future GPs is inadequate. As part of the 16 Days of Action against gender based violence, we’re calling for domestic abuse training to be provided to all medical professionals.

Yesterday I read the tragic news that Leanne McKie's husband has been charged with her murder. Leanne was a detective. Her husband is also a police officer. My thoughts immediately went to their children, her family and friends and her colleagues.
