MARAC action planning toolkit

Strengthening action planning in MARAC

Action planning is an important part of the MARAC process. It is through coordinated, multi-agency action that risks are reduced, safety is increased, and meaningful change is achieved for those at high-risk of serious harm or homicide because of domestic abuse.

To support MARAC professionals across Scotland, SafeLives Safer Sooner project has developed a MARAC action planning toolkit . This toolkit brings together guidance and practical resources to support consistent, high-quality action planning before, during and after MARAC meetings.

The toolkit has been informed by feedback from MARAC Chairs, Coordinators and frontline professionals, as well as insights from SafeLives work across the UK.
