Policy and influencing

We use our knowledge and expertise to influence local and national policy, transforming the lives of families affected by abuse. We work with everyone who wants to stop domestic abuse.

SafeLives emerged from an urgent need to find better ways to help survivors of domestic abuse.

We combine research and data, with the voices of survivors, to influence local and national policy, transforming the response to domestic abuse.

In this section of our website you can find our research and policy library, housing all of our publications and datasets.

You can also find our responses to government consultations, as well as specific policy sections on children and young people, men and boys and health.
