Marac to Marac referral process

Marac to Marac referrals occur when a victim of domestic abuse moves between geographic areas, whether temporarily or permanently, and is therefore referred from one Marac to another Marac.

This resource should be used by practitioners within the originating Marac who go through the process of referring to the new Marac.

It provides an easy-to-follow, visual guide to ensure that Marac practitioners appropriately follow steps in the referral process. A series of questions with ‘yes’ or ‘no’ responses ensure that decision making is unambiguous.
