SafeLives Scotland

Find out about our work in Scotland and access many different resources aimed at professionals working in Scotland.

SafeLives has existed since 2005 but the work in Scotland specifically began in 2012 with the development of the Independent Domestic Abuse Advocacy (Idaa) training, funded by Scottish government and delivered in partnership with Scottish Women’s Aid and ASSIST.

Over the last 12 years, SafeLives Scotland have developed and grown to now cover four distinct workstreams;

  • Training
  • Safer, Sooner (multi-agency work in Scotland)
  • Domestic Abuse Court Advocacy Accreditation
  • Engagement and Authentic Voice

We benefit from invaluable support from research and project management colleagues, across some projects.
