Our Dynamics of domestic abuse training is designed to provide introductory knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse in Scotland.

This is an open course which is available to any professionals or volunteers who are looking to deepen their understanding of domestic abuse.

This course will focus on:

  • The different types of domestic abuse
  • How domestic abuse develops
  • Why perpetrators behave abusively
  • The stages of change a victim goes through when experiencing abuse
  • The barriers to leaving an abusive partner

This is a half day course, delivered online via Teams.

Eligibility

This training is suitable for professionals or volunteers working with victims of domestic abuse.

Price

Open course = £60 per learner
In-house = £800 (Online) or £1200 (F2F) for groups of up to 24 learners.
