This is an introductory level course suitable for any professional who may come into contact with adults affected by domestic abuse.
Increase your understanding and awareness of domestic abuse, and build confidence in discussing the subject, dealing with disclosures, and signposting and referring people for specialist domestic abuse support. This training covers:
Our domestic abuse awareness training is designed to provide introductory knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse to professionals in England and Wales.
This introduction to domestic abuse course is suitable for any professionals who are looking to deepen their understanding of domestic abuse, the dynamics of coercive control, the barriers to seeking support and leaving a relationship, and the support options available for victims and survivors.
This course builds learners’ confidence talking about domestic abuse and responding well to disclosures.
This introduction to domestic abuse course is particularly ideal for those working in healthcare, housing and education.
One day, online (via Zoom). The duration of the session is 7 hours.
This course is suitable for any professional working in England or Wales, no prior experience or knowledge of domestic abuse is needed.
£150 per learner.

If you work for a registered charity with a turnover of less than £2 million, or an organisation with 50 employees or fewer, you are entitled to a subsidised rate of £90 per person.
