Idva job description

These example role descriptions have been created to support recruitment of domestic abuse advocates and advisors

We have created sample job descriptions for Idva posts. They are based on sector standards and have been created in line with national guidance and our own insight and expertise. These job descriptions are in line with the wider sector requirements for domestic abuse works and other SafeLives services.

They are designed for national and full time posts. They will need to be amended to take account of local contexts or part time positions.

This resource remains available as part of our commitment to provide the knowledge and information professionals need to support their response to domestic abuse.
