Authentic voice and trauma-informed practice – Echo webinar
Overview
This webinar brought to you by the Echo Project is ideal for professionals across public health, community services, safeguarding and more.
This session introduces the principles of trauma-informed practice, a framework that recognises the widespread impact of trauma and emphasises safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment in the way we work. Trauma-informed approaches ask not “what’s wrong with you?” but rather “what’s happened to you?”, ensuring that services respond with understanding and compassion.
The session was led by SafeLives Practice Consultants, Pioneers and Authentic Voice Coordinators who use their expertise by experience to create meaningful, authentic and effective change.
