Isabel Boyer, Chair of SafeLivesEllen brings a wealth of experience of working in the public and charity sector at a leadership level, and she impressed the appointment panel with her combination of expertise, sector knowledge, and genuine commitment to centring lived experience. We are all very much looking forward to working with Ellen when she joins us on 3 January 2023. On behalf of everyone at SafeLives I would also like to take this opportunity to offer Suzanne our very best wishes as she starts her parental leave at the end of the year, and we look forward to welcoming her back next year.
Ellen MillerAs a long-standing supporter of SafeLives’ work I am really pleased to be joining a team of talented colleagues who are passionately committed to ending domestic abuse. This is a particularly difficult time for victim survivors and for frontline services, who are facing a range of challenges relating to the cost of living crisis. There is much work to be done, and I’m looking forward to getting started and providing support and leadership over the coming months.
