SafeLives' statement on allegations of racism at Solace Women's Aid

We are aware of serious allegations made about Solace Women’s Aid last weekend by current and former staff members. The Evolve service within Solace currently holds SafeLives Leading Lights accreditation and we are considering the next steps we need to take. We are in touch, as we do that, both with Solace and also with colleague organisations in the specialist domestic abuse sector.

There is absolutely no place for racism in the work of the domestic abuse sector, or in our organisations.
